Update on the Port of LA to Help Guide Holiday Shipping Decisions (Webinar)

August 9, 2022 | Toy Association members are advised to save the date for an upcoming webinar on the Port of Los Angeles that will help guide decision-making this holiday season.

A Look at the 2022 Holiday Shipping Season: A Report from the Port of LA,” taking place Thursday, September 1 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), is open exclusively to Toy Association members. Though all are welcome to attend, the session is specifically recommended for those who work in the logistics, transportation and/or supply chain areas of their companies. Registration is now open.

With harmful shipping delays continuing to impact the toy community as companies struggle to get containers off ships and to retailers and distribution centers, the session is intended to guide companies and offer the most up-to-date information on shipping. Gene Seroka, executive director at the Port of Los Angeles, will offer insights into the port and an outlook for the remainder of the year.

This webinar is part of an ongoing series of sessions designed to help companies navigate the ongoing global shipping crisis. Members may access previously recorded sessions on the Port of Savannah and Port Houston online. The Toy Association’s Shipping Crisis Resource Center offers additional tools and news to help guide companies.

Questions about this webinar and other Toy Association educational offerings may be directed to Anne McConnell, senior director of market research & data strategy.
