Congress Relaunches Bipartisan Toy Caucus

May 22, 2025 | U.S. Representatives Ted Lieu (D-CA) and Rob Wittman (R-VA) relaunched the bipartisan Congressional Toy Caucus, highlighting the U.S. toy industry’s critical role as a driver of economic growth, innovation, and job creation across the country. With an annual economic impact of over $150 billion, the toy industry supports more than half a million jobs and generates tens of billions in wages in the U.S.

The Toy Caucus is dedicated to raising awareness on issues impacting the toy industry, including protecting children’s online safety, securing resilient supply chains, mitigating the sale of illegal and counterfeit products, and advancing environmental sustainability.

"We are grateful to Representatives Lieu and Wittman for their leadership in co-chairing the bipartisan Congressional Toy Caucus and revitalizing it as a vital forum for the U.S. toy industry,” said Greg Ahearn, president and CEO of The Toy Association. “Their commitment will help elevate the critical role the toy industry plays in the healthy development of American children.”
