The Toy Association is committed to providing a safe cyber environment for parents, children, and people who are interested in the U. S. toy industry. We respect your privacy, and would like you to know what is done with any information that we collect through our website:
Browsing Toy Association web properties
(e.g. ToyAssociation.org, ToyAwards.org, PlaySafe.org, TheGeniusOfPlay.org, PlayFairNY.com and ToyFairNY.com)
Our sites log certain activity of visitors (i.e., how many total visitors we have, what the most popular pages are, etc.). However, that tracking is NOT done in such a way that it identifies the individual visitor … with one exception: in order to conduct the nomination and voting for the Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards, we use personal "cookies" to identify and monitor individuals and their voting activities on ToyAwards.org.
Information You Give Us
All personal information collected by The Toy Association is securely stored, and will be used solely for identification and/or purposes stated when the information is requested. The Toy Association will not sell, distribute, or otherwise make available to third parties any information we collect on this site. Children, as always, are encouraged to check with their parents before providing any information on any website they visit.
The Association aggregates information from all visitors into log files in order to measure the total number of visitors to the website and how many visit each area within it. This helps the Association to learn about which areas are most popular and should be expanded and which are least popular and should be reduced or eliminated. The Toy Association does not belong to banner ad networks and does not access or allow access by other organizations.
