Donate to The Toy Foundation™ to Give the Gift of Play to Children in Need this Holiday Season
September 30, 2025 | When a child receives a new toy during the holidays, it’s not only something to play with — it’s a powerful symbol of joy, hope, and a reassurance that they are cared for. To create these impactful moments, The Toy Foundation’s (TTF) Toy Chest (formerly known as the Toy Bank) counts on industry donations to be able to deliver thousands of toys to children in need.
As the holiday season approaches, TTF is calling on toy companies to donate product to the Toy Chest and create a magical season for as many children as possible. Donations may be coordinated by submitting a donation form in October to ensure toys reach children in time for the holidays.
“For many children, the toy they receive through The Toy Foundation is the only gift they will get this holiday season,” said Pam Mastrota, executive director of TTF. “Our nonprofit partners have indicated that more children than ever are in need of new toys, games, and comforting dolls and plush. Together, we have the power to make a difference in the lives of thousands of children in need!”
The Toy Chest works with a network of 1,600 qualified nonprofits nationwide, plus more around the globe, to effectively distribute the donations to children in under-resourced communities, children’s hospitals, and following natural disasters. Many of these organizations host holiday toy distributions and rely heavily on donations from The Toy Foundation.
Year-round, Toy Chest is the only industry-wide giving initiative comforting more than 35 million children with the power of play since 2003. The program works with all types of companies to pick up donations of all sizes nationwide, at no cost to the donor. It is a simple and effective way for a company to advance its corporate social responsibility efforts, support inventory management, and engage employees in a give-back initiative.
