The Toy Association™ Welcomes Lindsey Hueer, Esq. to Manage State Government Affairs

Lindsey HueerAugust 19, 2025 | The Toy Association™, the trade association advocating and working for the success of all businesses involved in creating and delivering toys and youth entertainment products for kids of all ages, announced today that Lindsey Hueer, Esq. has joined the organization as senior manager of state government affairs, effective August 4.

In her role, Hueer will serve under the Association’s Government Affairs Center of Excellence and will be responsible for monitoring legislative activity, tracking and analyzing regulatory proposals, engaging with policymakers, and supporting advocacy efforts across the western states. She will work closely with Charlotte Hickcox, director of state government affairs at The Toy Association, and other state lobbyists on chemical, EPR, and other state priority issues. Hueer will report to Kathrin Belliveau, chief policy officer at The Toy Association.

Hueer joins The Toy Association with a wealth of experience in state-level advocacy, having spent more than 10 years working in legislative policy and government relations in Washington State. Most recently, she represented some of the largest businesses in the U.S., such as Amazon, Alaska Airlines, Boeing, Costco, Microsoft, and Starbucks, through her role at the Association of Washington Business, where she successfully advanced policies on behalf of the state’s Chamber of Commerce before the Washington State legislature.

Hueer holds a Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she was recognized as a Business Law Scholar and contributed as an assistant editor of the Law Review. She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Washington’s Honors College.
