Ceaco/Gamewright Donates $3 Million in Toys to Toy Industry Foundation’s Holiday Toy Drive

New York, NY | December 19, 2016 – More than a quarter of a million children who are impoverished, underserved or otherwise in need will receive brand-new toys for the holidays, thanks to a generous donation from Ceaco/Gamewright of close to $3 million in games and puzzles during the Toy Industry Foundation’s (TIF) 2016 Holiday Toy Drive.

“The Toy Industry Foundation is pleased to make play possible for children in need this holiday season with Ceaco/Gamewright by our side,” said Elizabeth Max, TIF’s program manager. “Their generous contribution of nearly 230,000 skill-building puzzles and family-friendly games will bring the magic of play to children who need it the most, whether they don’t have any toys to call their own, or have been abandoned or abused. Ceaco is a longtime supporter of The Toy Bank and we are thankful for their continued support.”

Working in partnership with World Vision, TIF will provide the toys to children fighting poverty, abuse, neglect and illness, among other forms of adversity. Donated games and puzzles include Ring-O Flamingo, Pool Shark, The Big Fat Tomato Game, and Cube Quest.

“It is important to Gamewright and Ceaco to donate to the Toy Industry Foundation’s Toy Drive because we know that our puzzles and games are gifts that kids can grow and learn from; it would be unfortunate that wasn’t equally accessible for all kids regardless of the income barriers in their families,” said Nora Meiners, Ceaco’s marketing coordinator. “We are gifted to work in an industry that offers wholesome family entertainment so we donate and spread that joy further when we can.”

TIF’s Toy Bank is generously stocked by manufacturers, retailers and distributors throughout the year. To date, The Toy Bank has provided more than $200 million in toys to 23 million children in need worldwide, including foster kids who don’t have a permanent home to call their own, sick children fighting life threatening illnesses, deployed families living on U.S. military bases, and other struggling kids who are served by The Toy Bank’s vast network of more 1,000 global charities. Visit www.TheToyBank.org to learn more.
