SAVE THE DATE: TIA to Host May Webinars on Toy Export Opportunities in Canada and the U.K.

Knowledge NetworkApril 11, 2016 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA) will host two new webinars to help companies considering entering the Canadian or United Kingdom toy markets. Both will be presented by Kidz Global and Altios International and will provide highlights from commissioned research on market demographics, consumer behavior and entry strategies for the respective markets. Registration is now open for the Canada and United Kingdom webinars.

Expanding the Global Toy Marketplace: What U.S. Companies Should Know About Entering Canada” will take place on Wednesday, May 18th at 2-3 pm Eastern. "Expanding the Global Toy Marketplace: What U.S. Companies Should Know About Entering the United Kingdom" will be held Thursday, May 19th at 2-3 pm Eastern.    

Each webinar will discuss high-level research findings on opportunities, obstacles and key success factors for expanding distribution into the respective toy markets. International consultancy Kidz Global will analyze consumer behavior, children’s routines and play preferences, digital activities, gift-giving behavior, brand awareness and implications for manufacturers. Business intelligence from Altios International will include demographics, economic data, toy market trends, and ideal target product categories, audiences and retail channels to help companies develop sound strategies for successfully entering the marketplace.  

Alexis Martin, managing director and partner at Altios International, and Philippe Guinaudeau, CEO of Kidz Global, will present the webinars, which will be moderated by Anne McConnell, TIA’s senior director of market research & data strategy.

The webinars are free for TIA members and $49 for non-members.
