Tickets Available for 15^th Annual Wonder Woman Awards Gala

December 17, 2018 | Toy professionals are invited to celebrate the industry’s leading female executives at the 15^th Annual Wonder Women Awards Gala, taking place on Sunday, February 17 at Chelsea Piers in New York City.

Hosted by Women in Toys, Licensing, and Entertainment (WIT), the annual Wonder Women Awards celebrates industry leaders for their outstanding contributions in toys, licensing, and entertainment in eight categories, to be recognized that evening. The awards nominees were announced on Thursday. Award categories include: Creator/Inventor, Licensing, Manufacturing, Marketing/PR, Rising Star/Corporate, Rising Star/Independent, Sales, and Social Responsibility. Voting is open to all WIT members through Friday, January 11.

“Our slate of finalists represents just some of the remarkable women who are making their mark on our industry,” said Karen Kilpatrick, WIT nominations committee chair and executive at Jazwares. “We are excited for the opportunity to honor this year’s finalists, and the incredible winners who are a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of their companies at the upcoming Wonder Women Awards.”

The gala will welcome hundreds of industry executives for an evening of cocktails, dinner, networking, and the awards presentation. New for 2019, WIT will host an afterparty immediately following the awards ceremony for additional networking.

Tickets are now on sale, with early-bird pricing through December 21. Industry professionals can purchase tickets online. Proceeds from this event are used to fund scholarships, develop and maintain a full calendar of programs and networking events, and support initiatives for WIT’s members and its community.
