Mojo Nation Announces Winners of Play Creators Awards in London, UK

September 4, 2019 | Mojo Nation announced the winners of the Play Creators Awards at an evening ceremony held Monday, September 2 during the Play Creators Festival in London, UK. The awards program celebrates “those in the toy and game design community that have excelled over the last 12 months.” Prizes were handed out in 10 categories.

The Toy Association’s Creative Factor sponsored this year’s Play Creators Festival, as well as two Play Creators award categories – Toy Designer of the Year (Licensed Product), awarded to Mike Wyatt and Matthew Wright for the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat Play Set (Playpress Toys/RNLI), and Play Innovator of the Year, awarded to Fuse London Ltd and Briology for the Cool Maker KumiKreator (Spin Master). Creative Factor will continue its Crazy Ideas Welcome world tour, hitting Toy Fair Dallas in October (programming is currently in development), before making its return to Toy Fair New York in February 2020, where it will offer show attendees exclusive access to insightful  programming presented by experts across a wide range of disciplines.

“The amazing innovation we see in the industry year after year wouldn’t exist without the talent and drive of toy inventors and designers, which is why we are thrilled to once again offer educational programming under the Creative Factor banner at our marketplace events,” added Bossard.
