Two Toy Association Staff Members Nominated for WIT Wonder Women Awards

January 8, 2019 | Two Toy Association staff members have been nominated for this year’s Women in Toys, Licensing, and Entertainment (WIT) Wonder Women Awards.

The annual Wonder Women Awards celebrates industry leaders for their outstanding contributions in toys, licensing, and entertainment in eight categories. Award categories include: Creator/Inventor, Licensing, Manufacturing, Marketing/PR, Rising Star/Corporate, Rising Star/Independent, Sales, and Social Responsibility.

The Toy Association’s Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events, has been nominated for the award in the Sales category; Adrienne Appell, senior director of strategic communications, has been nominated for the award in the Marketing/PR category. Bossard and Appell are among 60 nominees for this year’s Wonder Women Awards.

“Both Marian and Adrienne – two longtime Toy Association staff members – are the embodiment of dedication, passion, and relentless commitment to the industry through the impactful work they have done on behalf of both our members and the entire toy community. Voting is open to all WIT members through Friday, January 11. Winners will be recognized during the 15th Annual Wonder Women Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, February 17 at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
