Reminder: Thursday Webinar to Offer Port of LA Update

portoflaSeptember 28, 2021 | As The Toy Association spreads the word to consumers to #ShopEarly4Toys amid the ongoing supply chain disruptions, it is continuing to keep toy companies apprised of shipping developments as the holidays draw near. Members are being reminded of a webinar taking place this Thursday, September 30 that will provide critical updates on the Port of Los Angeles.

Taking place at 2 p.m. (Eastern), the one-hour session presented by Gene Seroka, executive director of the Port of LA, will provide those who work in the logistics, transportation, and/or supply chain areas of their companies with the information they need to plan for the holiday season and beyond. The webinar represents the latest step in The Toy Association’s ongoing advocacy work to address the shipping crisis and its significant impact on the global toy community.

“With our small- and mid-size members being hit the hardest by these challenges, giving toy companies the opportunity to hear from and speak directly to organizations like the Port of LA can be absolutely critical when making the business-impacting decisions that can make or break their holiday season,” said Ed Desmond, executive vice president of external affairs at The Toy Association.

This webinar is open exclusively to Toy Association members; registration may be completed online.
