Hasbro’s “Women Innovators of Play” program is returning for a third consecutive year, continuing its mission to celebrate and empower women creators across the global toy and game industry. Taking place October 9, the 2025 virtual event will include an expanded lineup of speakers from Hasbro, Scopely, Amazon, Target, IDEO, and more.
The free, 90-minute event will feature a range of panels and conversations focused on leadership, design, retail, and the evolving landscape of gaming and entertainment. Click here for the 2025 schedule and full lineup of speakers. Registration can be completed online.
Alongside the virtual program, Hasbro is launching its third annual “Women Innovators of Play Design Challenge.” Submissions are being accepted from October 9 through November 13, 2025. The competition invites women designers to submit their original toy or game concepts for a chance to win:
- A $10,000 cash prize
- A trip to Hasbro’s world headquarters for “A Day at Hasbro”
- A mentorship session with one of Hasbro’s top women leaders
Last year’s challenge drew more than 100 submissions from women around the world. Winners Elise Hardman, Amelie Le-Roche, and Natalie Podd each received a $10,000 prize and mentorship opportunities at Hasbro. Hardman and Podd will return for this year’s virtual event to share insights from their experience.
