Toy Fair® exhibitors can boost their press outreach and generate media buzz by leveraging the following resources for the show, taking place February 14 to 17 at the Javits Center in New York City.
“Each year, hundreds of media professionals come to Toy Fair to discover the latest innovations and products shaping the toy industry,” said Kristin Morency Goldman, senior director of strategic communications at The Toy Association™. “Maximizing media exposure at the show is key to driving brand awareness and product visibility. By using these resources, exhibitors can connect with press, amplify their messaging, and make a lasting impact at the show and beyond.”
Whether you're a seasoned participant or a first-time exhibitor, here are some valuable tips to maximize coverage and make the most out of your time at Toy Fair:
- Annual Product Preview
(Deadline to Book: January 28, 2026)
Toy Fair’s annual Product Preview will take place on Friday, February 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Hall 1D at the Javits Center. This is a great opportunity to share information about your key products and priorities so the Toy Fair PR Team can better support media coverage throughout the show. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact The Toy Association’s Maddie Michalik. Preference is given to Toy Association members on a first come, first served basis.
- Free Collateral Slots on Exhibitor Directory Profile
All exhibitors can take advantage of two complimentary “collateral” slots for your online Exhibitor Directory profile, no matter your listing level on Map Your Show. Adding content like press releases, product catalogues, or multimedia to your profile enhances your visibility and helps media and buyers engage with you and become more familiar with your brand. Importantly, the link to all exhibitor collateral is featured in the Toy Fair Online Press Room, which is promoted to media before, during, and after Toy Fair.
To upload your content, simply log in to the Exhibitor Resource Center, go to the "Complete Your Profile" section, and click the blue "Collateral" heading to add your assets. Additional press services, from posting press releases to wire service distributions, are available from PR Newswire for a fee; reach out to Erienne Muldoon for more information.
Note: As in past years, media will be directed to the Toy Fair Online Press Room for show information, the Toy Fair press kit, news releases, etc. Media will also be able to access the full Toy Fair Exhibitor Directory and exhibitor collateral via Map Your Show within the online press room.
- Press Center Product Showcase
Companies participating in the Product Preview will be able to provide one product image for a “new product showcase” video loop that will play in the Press Center throughout the show. Additional information will be provided when your appointment is confirmed.
- Toy Fair PR Bootcamp Webinar
This on-demand session offers practical tips on Toy Fair media outreach, including building a media list, creating press materials, enhancing your social media presence, and making the most of the show’s on-site PR resources.
