The Toy Association’s annual Toy Safety & Legislative Update will take place Monday, February 16 at Toy Fair® in New York City. Registered Toy Fair attendees receive complimentary access to this must-attend seminar, taking place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. in the General Session Theatre (Hall 1D). Complimentary breakfast, sponsored by SGS North America, will be served to seminar attendees beginning at 8 a.m.
The session will include insights from Toy Association leadership and safety and regulatory experts, who will share the toy industry’s top state, federal, and international legislative and regulatory priorities, including key product safety-related activity and an update on the Association’s ongoing advocacy against tariffs on toys. Representatives from Health Canada will address changes to the Canadian Consumer Product Safety Act, and additional topics will include a forecast of the top legislative issues anticipated within U.S. states in 2026, new toy safety requirements under the European Toy Safety Regulation, and more.
