The global toy industry is gearing up for Toy Fair®, set to take over the Javits Center in New York City in just a few weeks. From new event features and important reminders to must-know logistics, here’s what you need to know before you go — whether you're a seasoned Toy Fair veteran or attending for the first time.

New for 2026
- Opening Day Update: Toy Fair opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 14. The Costume Character Parade and Ribbon Cutting will kick off at 9:45 a.m. in the Crystal Palace, just outside the exhibit hall.
- The Toy Fair Store (Booth 3156) will be open throughout all four days of the show while supplies last. Purchases support The Toy Foundation and its mission to deliver play to children in need. Attendees will be able to pick up Toy Fair memorabilia from the 120th show, including limited-edition Toy Fair-branded beanies, caps, T-shirts, tumblers, notepads, stickers, and more.
Before You Arrive
- Badge Pickup: All show participants, including all exhibitors and attendees, can pick up their show credentials at the North Concourse registration area starting Thursday, February 12 at noon. There will be no on-site registration.
- Toy Fair App: Download the Toy Fair mobile app to navigate the show with ease. Use the app to schedule appointments, keep tabs on special off-site events, and view Toy Fair University educational sessions.
- Join the Buzz: Share your Toy Fair excitement, photos with industry friends, and showcase your favorite finds using #ToyFairLife on social media.
Event Highlights
- Across all four days, Toy Fair University offers 30+ educational sessions featuring nearly 100 industry experts, including the anticipated Toy Trends Briefing (Feb. 14), highlighting the top toy & play trends of 2026, and the Toy Safety & Legislative Update (Feb. 16), detailing key safety and legislative updates impacting the toy space. Additional sessions will cover retail strategy and buyer insights, licensing and brand extension, marketing and consumer trends, innovation, sustainability, technology, and so much more.
- Toy Fair exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect with hundreds of university students participating in the Student Congress program, taking place Sunday, February 15 in the General Session Theater.
- Taking place Tuesday, February 17 in Hall 1D, Creative Factor Inventor Day will welcome a select number of inventors will pitch their ideas to influential toy and youth entertainment professionals and potential manufacturing partners.
- From the Toy of the Year Awards — aka “Oscars” of the toy industry — to networking nights, there are several after-hours events that attendees will want to mark on their calendars ahead of the show. All events can be added to attendees’ calendars using the Toy Fair mobile app. Remember that some events require separate registration.
