March 2, 2026 | The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (CPSC) mandatory eFiling framework will take effect on July 8, 2026, introducing new electronic compliance data submission requirements for imported products. To help companies prepare, The Toy Association™ distributed step-by-step guidance to members via email on March 2, 2026.
Given the operational, systems, and data management implications of the new regulations, members are urged to have processes in place ahead of the July deadline. The Association’s guidance outlines key requirements, timelines, and recommended preparatory steps to support compliance planning.
Additionally, a recent CPSC webinar details the latest information about the Product Registry framework and associated requirements, as well as newly implemented and in-process improvements and updates.
