As consumer demand for soccer-inspired toys surges globally, The Toy Association’s trends team has been spotlighting soccer-themed toys and games from member companies across major media markets in June. According to Circana, global soccer-related toy sales from January to April increased 160%, with the category expected to grow throughout the summer.

“From CBS Los Angeles and FOX 11 Los Angeles' Good Day LA, to FOX 5 DC, our team shared some of the hottest soccer- and World Cup-inspired toys, games, collectibles, and activities to help families discover ways to bring the excitement of the tournament into everyday play,” said Adrienne Appell, executive vice president of marketing communications at The Toy Association. “The products represented a wide range of companies, reflecting the growing consumer appetite for toys and games around global moments like the FIFA World Cup.”

The segments reached a cumulative audience of more than 47 million and featured Fat Brain Toys, Elenco, LEGO, ToyMonster, PMI Kids, Golden Bear, Hasbro, Hape, Crayola, Mattel, Ultra Pro, Jazwares, and South Beach Bubbles.

Appell continued, “The strong performance for soccer toys also reflects The Toy Association’s 2026 'Fan-Driven Play' trend prediction, which identified toys tied to major cultural moments and fandoms as a key driver of toy purchases this year.”
