You are cordially invited to join with industry colleagues and friends at the 2013 TOTY awards to celebrate the “Oscars” of the toy industry, honor the most outstanding new toy products to hit the marketplace, salute the industry icons being inducted into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame, and support the inspiring work of the Toy Industry Foundation.

TOTY 2013 will be held at the beautiful and iconic New York City landmark, The Plaza Hotel.

Reservations

The $375 per person event reservation fee includes:

  • Sumptuous pre- and post-ceremony cocktails + dinner and dessert receptions
  • Live entertainment
  • TOTY awards presentation - as selected by consumers, retailers, journalists and TIA members
  • Induction of the newest members of the Toy Industry Hall of Fame
  • Opportunities to connect with industry friends and business partners old and new
  • And many more surprises during a memorable and fun-filled evening

A special “Taste of TOTY” event reservation fee is available exclusively to:

  • members of TIA who joined March 1, 2012 or later and
  • “first-time” exhibitors of the American National Toy Fair (Toy Fair 2013)

“The Taste of TOTY” experience includes entry at 8:00 pm for the awards ceremony followed by the post-ceremony dessert and cocktail reception. Reservations for this option are $250 per person; verification of “freshman” membership and exhibitor status is required.

The order form can be used to register up to five (5) persons.

To coordinate reservations for a group of six (6) or more, to place a credit card order via phone, to request an invoice, or for additional information, please contact the TOTY reservationist via e-mail or phone (646.454.5587).

Cancellation Policy

The event reservation fee may be refunded in full until Friday, January 25, 2013. 

Beginning Saturday, January 26, 2013, refunds are subject to a 50% cancellation penalty. 

Beginning Tuesday, February 5, 2013, no refunds will be possible.

If you are unable to attend due to weather-related travel complications (e.g., you have a flight that is cancelled, etc.), please be certain to keep copies of all relevant correspondence from your airline, etc., and keep us informed of your travel situation. Should circumstances permit us to break from the TOTY cancellation policy, we will likely be required to document that advance notice was received and proof that revised travel plans make it impossible to attend. We will follow-up post-event with everyone who was affected by weather.

TOTY Tribute Book

The TOTY awards ceremony is the largest fundraising event in support of the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) and its efforts to bring millions of smiles to millions of kids through play.

The Tribute Book is the official take-home program for guests at the annual TOTY Awards and is the Foundation’s largest fundraising effort of the year. The commemorative publication, featuring award nominees and past TOTY highlights, will be distributed during the ceremony.

Disclaimer

Support for the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) is primarily through the purchase of ads in the TOTY Tribute Book and additional “100% tax deductible” financial contributions submitted via the online reservation form. No portion of the event registration fee directly supports the TIF, and therefore the event reservation fee is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
