Toy Fair Exhibitors: Learn How to Pitch to Media & Buyers for the Show

November 12, 2018 | The Toy Association is hosting two upcoming webinars for Toy Fair exhibitors that will suggest tips on how to pitch to retail buyers and help sharpen their PR strategies to create buzz around their products while at the show. Registration is now open for both sessions.

Companies will learn important tools and techniques for building and executing a strong media relations approach leading up to, during, and after the 2019 show during the session, “Toy Fair PR Bootcamp: Kickstart Your TF ’19 Public Relations Strategy,” taking place on December 6 from 2 to 3 p.m. (Eastern). Session presenters include Adrienne Appell, director of strategic communications at The Toy Association, and Erienne Muldoon, senior customer content specialist at Virtual Press Office.

During the session, “Pitch Like a Pro: How to Present to Retail Buyers,” taking place on December 13 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), attendees will learn the art of approaching and talking with retail buyers and how to perfect the short pitch. The one-hour webinar will be presented by Leila Nosrati, a retail sales and merchandising coach and principal of consulting firm Master Toy Advisors.

“With the hundreds of thousands of toys and games on display at Toy Fair, brands need to stand out from the crowd,” said Kimberly Carcone, vice president of market events at The Toy Association. “We strongly encourage exhibitors to attend these two informational and valuable webinars, presented by experts who will provide suggestions on how to make Toy Fair an even more productive and successful investment.”

The sessions are free and open to all Toy Fair exhibitors. Contact Anne McConnell, The Toy Association’s senior director of market research and data strategy, with questions regarding these webinars.
