Nominations Are Open for 2020 WIT Wonder Woman Awards
June 4, 2019 | Nominations are now open for the Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WIT) 16th Annual Wonder Women Awards, which honor top female executives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and other changemakers for their extraordinary accomplishments and impact within the toy, licensing, and the entertainment industries.
From now through October 31, 2019, industry professionals may nominate a colleague, friend, themselves, or any woman who has made an impact in toys, licensing, or entertainment in the following categories:
- Creator / Designer / Inventor
- Licensor / Entertainment
- Licensee / Manufacturer
- Marketing / PR
- Rising Star
- Social Responsibility
Finalists will be announced in early December and based on the candidate’s achievements and accomplishments in any the following areas:
- Positively impacted her company, peers, or industry, and served as a role model for other individuals or companies in the industry.
- Contributed to the growth or improvement of her company or the toy, licensing or entertainment industries.
- Garnered widespread industry recognition for her noteworthy accomplishments for the year.
Award winners will be announced and celebrated at WIT’s Wonder Women Awards, on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers in New York City, coinciding with Toy Fair New York. Proceeds from this event are used to fund scholarships, develop and maintain WIT’s programs and networking events, and support initiatives for WIT’s members and community.
