The Toy Association and Mojo Nation Kick Off DISTOY with Summer Party

June 5, 2019 | To celebrate the opening night of DISTOY, The Toy Association and Mojo Nation co-hosted a joint “Summer Party” where dozens of toy and game industry professionals gathered for a night of cocktails, networking, and musical trivia.

The Toy Association’s Steve Pasierb, president and CEO, and Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events, were among more than 100 participants who competed to test their musical knowledge as well as network.

“We had a fantastic time with our friends at Mojo Nation during a hilarious evening of singing and remembering hit songs of decades past, while connecting with colleagues,” Bossard said. “Further, the event was an example of The Toy Association's ongoing support of the toy, game, design, and inventor communities – the lifeblood of our industry – and we looked forward to finding additional ways to work this important group in the future.”

Mojo Nation’s Co-Founder Billy Langsworthy said: “We were delighted to team up with The Toy Association on a Summer Party. We share the Association's passion for celebrating the toy and game design scene and it was great to bring this community together for a fun night of quizzing during DISTOY."
