This one-hour session, taking place December 4 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), will offer a brief overview of the work being proposed to the ASTM standards for Nitrosamines in Pacifiers (ASTM F1313), Toys (ASTM F963), and a new ASTM effort for Tricycle Safety.

This includes the BV OneSource database, which keeps track of relevant requirements, and The Toy Association’s Safety Education Program, an online course that guides toy professionals (free for members, and modestly priced for non-members) through key federal, state, and international safety regulations and requirements.

The webinar is open to all toy industry stakeholders. It is specifically recommended for quality control professionals, compliance officers, and chemical program managers. Registration is free to members and $49 for non-members.

Presenters include Jill Grosskopf, supervisor and product manager of knowledge products and regulations at Bureau Veritas, and The Toy Association’s Alan Kaufman, senior vice president of technical affairs, and Joan Lawrence, senior vice president of standards & regulatory affairs.
