Toy Association Members-Only Strategy Meeting to Discuss Priority Issues for 2021

kids-at-workOctober 28, 2020 | The Toy Association has announced that it will host its annual strategy meeting from December 8 to 10, 2020. Toy Association members are invited to participate in the meeting, which will be held virtually for two to three hours each afternoon. It will cover critical policy issues facing toy companies and help decide the strategic direction of the Association’s advocacy efforts and messaging in 2021. The meeting is open to members only; associate members and outside companies are not permitted to attend.

“The Toy Association’s annual strategy meeting offers a unique opportunity for members to provide input on current and emerging issues impacting their businesses,” said Ed Desmond, The Toy Association’s executive vice president of external affairs. “With the presidential and major state elections upon us, we look forward to meeting with our members soon afterwards to strategize on top priority areas and lay down a strong foundation for the year ahead.”

The meeting will cover state, federal, and international policy priorities, resources, and messaging, as well as how the external affairs staff can best represent the industry in the coming year.

Discussions will include: state legislation, intellectual property protection, connected toys and the Internet of Things, and trade and regulatory issues in regions and countries around the world, among other areas of interest to the industry. The full agenda will be made available to strategy meeting attendees upon registration.

Members may register for the meeting by contacting The Toy Association’s Heather Easley.
