Toy Association Trends Team Promotes Fun Trick-Or-Treating Alternatives

halloween-sacramento-segmentOctober 12, 2020 | With COVID-19 expected to impact many trick-or-treating plans, The Toy Association trends team has been virtually touring the country to promote members’ toys and games as fun options to keep the Halloween spirit alive. Recent airings were in Sacramento and San Diego with additional segments planned nationwide throughout October.

“Just because Halloween doesn’t look the same this year doesn’t mean it can’t be celebrated in a fun and safe way,” said Adrienne Appell, senior trend expert at The Toy Association. “By showcasing spooky toys and games, we are not only promoting our members’ products but helping parents create new play memories for their families!”

The trends team is also highlighting products beyond Halloween in various domestic and international trade magazines that align with our mid-year trend update, including Generations of Play, Educational Toys, Parent-Driven Purchases, and Kids’ Wish Lists.

In preparation for next year’s trend report, The Toy Association is currently scheduling virtual meetings with member companies to scope out the best products and trends for 2021. To schedule your product preview appointment, please contact Jennifer Lynch.
