Critical Updates on the Port of Savannah to be Addressed in Webinar

April 25, 2022 | In response to continual delays impacting the toy industry at U.S. ports, The Toy Association has announced a new members-only webinar on Thursday, June 2 to provide toy professionals with the latest information on the Port of Savannah, Georgia.

Taking place from 2 to 2:45 p.m. (Eastern), “Port Update: A Report on the Port of Savannah” will connect member toy companies with the CCO of the Port of Savannah, Cliff Pyron, and other key Georgia Ports Authority officials who will share key insights to aid decision-making into the 2022 holiday season. A Q&A will follow the presentation.

“As the third largest and fastest growing seaport in the U.S., the Port of Savannah is becoming a critical terminal for many of our members. This session marks the first in our 2022 series of webinars designed to arm toy executives with as much information as possible on key U.S. ports to help move their businesses forward amid the ongoing supply chain challenges,” said Ed Desmond, executive vice president of external affairs at The Toy Association and webinar moderator.

Registration is now open exclusively to Toy Association members. This webinar is specifically recommended for those who work in the logistics, transportation, and/or supply chain areas of their companies.

Additional sessions with leaders from ports in Texas and Virginia will follow in the coming months.
