The Toy Foundation™ Play Fund Kicks Off its 5th Year Supporting Children’s Hospitals

Each year, The Toy Foundation™ (TTF) Play Fund opens grant applications for children’s hospitals and health systems nationwide to apply for funding — and TTF is looking for industry partners to financially support the Play Fund in its fifth annual grant cycle.

Toy Fair® 2026 Retailer Registration off to Strong Start

Hundreds of retail outlets have already committed to attend Toy Fair® 2026, the largest and most influential toy & play industry event in North America. More than 850 individual retail outlets and attendees representing 59 countries have secured their spots to attend the global event, taking place February 14 to 17 at the Javits Center in New York City.

Toy Association Leadership Heads to Capitol Hill to Address Tariffs, EPR, & More

This week, The Toy Association’s Kathrin Belliveau, chief policy officer, and Maria Sierra, vice president of government affairs, will meet with influential congressional staff from the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate to discuss major policy areas impacting the toy industry, including tariffs and extended producer responsibility (EPR) laws.

Additional 100% Tariffs on Chinese Imports Now on Hold Until Nov. 1

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed Monday that President Donald Trump still plans to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea later this month, signaling an effort to cool tensions after the President announced additional tariffs on China. According to Bessent, the proposed 100% tariffs on Chinese imports are now on hold until November 1, as high-level discussions resume.
