The Toy Association to Host Global Market Research Sessions on Germany and France at Toy Fair

January 9, 2018 | The Toy Association will present its latest global market research on Germany and France during two Knowledge Network seminars at the 115th North American International Toy Fair. The seminars will provide in-depth analyses to help growing companies confidently decide whether to expand their businesses to these markets.

The presentation on Germany will take place Sunday, February 18 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The session on France will take place Monday, February 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. Both sessions will be held in Hall 1E, Room 1E11 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

During the educational sessions, Anne McConnell, The Toy Association’s senior director of market research & data strategy, will provide an overview of each country’s demographics and business environment. Philippe Guinaudeau, CEO of Kidz Global, will discuss consumer preferences in France and Germany, including relevant insights into kids’ daily routines and their digital activities, play trends, popular entertainment brands among kids, pocket money trends, and more.

“Each country represents an expanding business environment for toy companies,” McConnell says. “Germany’s business landscape offers a strong launch pad for U.S. companies considering international expansion – its business and consumer confidence is high. France has one of the fastest growing populations in Europe, with 18 percent of its population made up of children 14 and under.”

The Global Market Research sessions are free for Toy Association members. The registration fee for non-members is a flat rate of $99 to attend one or both presentations.

Toy Fair will take place February 17 to 20 at the Javits Center in New York City. Visit www.ToyFairNY.com for up-to-the minute details on exhibitor listings, educational sessions, hotels, and more, or download the free Toy Fair Mobile app on iTunes or Google Play.
