The Toy Association™ Announces 2026 Board of Directors & New Executive Committee

Geoffrey Greenberg, co-CEO of Just Play, Steps into Role as Chairperson of the Board

NEW YORK, NY | February 14, 2026 — The Toy Association™ today announced three new members and six term renewals to its Board of Directors, with Geoffrey Greenberg, co-CEO of Just Play, stepping into the role of chairperson.

The Association extends its gratitude to outgoing chairperson Sharon Price John, president & CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop, for her dedicated leadership and service to the industry. With the end of a successful two-year term as chairperson, Price John will take over the role of chair of the Board Nominating Committee, and, as such, serve as a member of the chair’s Advisory Committee.

“Sharon has been an exceptional and inspiring leader during a period of significant change and opportunity for our industry,” said Greg Ahearn, president & CEO of The Toy Association. “Her strategic vision, passion for play, and commitment to our members have helped strengthen our organization and position it for continued growth. We are deeply appreciative of her contributions during her tenure and the lasting impact she has made.”

“With Geoffrey Greenberg assuming the role of chairperson, we welcome a leader whose sharp industry insight and entrepreneurial spirit have helped shape some of today’s most successful brands,” Ahearn continued. “Geoffrey brings a deep understanding of today’s marketplace, a collaborative leadership style, and a strong commitment to advancing the interests of the global toy community. He understands where the business of play is headed — from shifting consumer behaviors to global growth opportunities — and he brings the vision, energy, and strategic mindset needed for guiding the Association and our members into the future.”

The three new members of The Toy Association’s board include Christina Miller, CEO of Spin Master, Julien Sharp, U.S. commercial general manager of Asmodee Group, and Teppei Onoki, CEO of Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, Inc.

In addition to Geoffrey Greenberg’s term as chairperson, five board members will also serve additional two-year terms: Duncan Billing, chair of the board of advisors at Moose Toys; Vish Chandran, CEO of Wild Republic; Wes Hardin, CEO of Diverse Marketing; Tim Kiplin, president of toys, licensing & entertainment at Hasbro, Inc.; and Rob Michaelis, vice president of brand commercialization, hardlines, and consumables in North America at Disney Consumer Products. Association board members serve two-year terms and may be nominated for re-election twice before being required to depart the board.

The Toy Association’s 2026 Executive Committee will include: Geoffrey Greenberg as chairperson; Tim Kilpin of Hasbro as vice-chairperson; and Jared Carr of LEGO Systems as treasurer. Jeremy Padawer of Jazwares and Wes Hardin of Diverse Marketing will serve as members at large.
