Donate to Kids in Need at Toy Fair Dallas 2020

toy-bank-logoSeptember 26, 2019 | Exhibitors looking to do a bit of good as they do business at Toy Fair Dallas can serve underprivileged children during The Toy Foundation ’s (TTF) annual Toy Bank collection on Friday, October 4, following the show’s close at 2 p.m.

For those looking to donate, TTF volunteers wearing bright orange T-shirts will sweep exhibitor booths after the show to collect any donated toys and games. TTF hopes to collect 15,000 toys and games at this year’s show and urges first-time and returning exhibitors to take part. Exhibitors can also get a head start in assisting these vital efforts by completing a product donation form and sending it to The Toy Bank. Exhibitors can also drop completed forms off at Booth 12-325 at the show.

"New donors are encouraged to participate in this year’s collection,” said Elizabeth Max, TTF’s senior foundation manager. “No donation is too small. Even if it’s just one or two toys, that’s one or two more kids in need that will receive a bit more comfort, joy, and companionship through your thoughtful donations. We appreciate the efforts of all our donors."

This year’s donated toys and games will be distributed through local charities in the Dallas metro area. A portion of donations will also go to charities nationwide that are part of the Toy Bank network.

Since 2003, more than $200 million in brand-new toys have been distributed to more than 26 million children and families in need through The Toy Bank. TTF’s Toy Bank accepts brand-new toys and games of all kinds, including action figures, arts and crafts, dolls, plush, puzzles, and outdoor toys. All donations are tax deductible.
