Blockchain Basics: How it Could Work for Your Business

webinar-graphicMay 21, 2020 | Toy professionals interested in learning about the applicability of blockchain technology in their business are invited to register for The Toy Association webinar, “Blockchain Fundamentals: From Tech to Business Application,” taking place Thursday, June 11 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).

This session will cover how blockchain can be used to bring companies together for better visibility to assets, information, and the exchange of money. It will also discuss how exactly the technology works, offer examples of how networks are created to drive new value across ecosystems, and explore how blockchain can be applied to the toy industry.

Kurt Wedgwood, U.S. blockchain market director for retail, consumer products, and transport at IBM; Alex Rosen, vice president of business development at Chainyard; and Lars Michelem, an IBM blockchain solutions specialist for North America, will present. The Toy Association’s Paul Vitale, executive vice president of finance & operations, will moderate.

Registration for the webinar is now open; the session is free for Toy Association members and $49 for non-members who wish to participate. All toy professionals are invited to attend; the session is specifically recommended to those involved in supply chain, finance, and information system functions.
