Recent Changes to the Bankruptcy Code that Impact Your Business – NEW WEBINAR

April 27, 2021 | Registration has opened for a new Toy Association webinar that will update manufacturers and distributors on a number of key changes to the Bankruptcy Code that alter certain aspects of the bankruptcy process and will impact their business.

Taking place May 20 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), “Recent Changes to the Bankruptcy Code that Impact Your Business as a Supplier” will help trade vendors understand the new provisions of the Bankruptcy Code, including a significant change that involves the addition of a completely new subchapter that provides a more streamlined process for small business debtors to reorganize. While the new subchapter has some provisions that are beneficial to both debtors and creditors, certain creditor-friendly provisions that exist in a normal chapter 11 case are stripped away. The webinar will include a timely discussion of this update, among others, led by Jason M. Torf, partner at Ice Miller LLP and moderated by Paul Vitale, The Toy Association’s executive vice president of finance & operations.

Registration is free for Toy Association members and $49 for non-members. The session is open to manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors, and is specifically recommended for individuals involved in credit, finance, and legal functions within their company.

Questions about this webinar and other educational opportunities offered by The Toy Association may be directed to Anne McConnell, senior director of market research & data strategy.
