Sustainability Spotlight: Geomagworld SA

February 22, 2022 | As The Toy Association continues to track sustainability trends in the toy industry, it is highlighting the sustainability initiatives its member companies are putting into action. This week’s Sustainability Spotlight is Geomagworld.

In order to operate in a responsible, sustainable, and transparent way, Geomagworld SA has voluntarily undertaken a transformation process to ensure responsible and sustainable business practices according to the B Corporation paradigm. The company has also embraced the circular economy through various initiatives ranging from transitioning its magnetic construction lines (Classic, Magicube, and Geomag Mechanics) to use 100% recycled plastics to relying on 100% renewable energy from Swiss hydroelectric plants in its production process.

In addition, the company has analyzed the production of waste and is implementing a strategy for its reduction: decreasing packaging and packaging materials and substituting them with sustainable alternatives, such as recycled or renewable materials, and assessing the proximity of its suppliers and their respect for safety, quality, sustainability, and ethics standards as well.

For 2022, GEOMAG’s Magicube Recycled collection features new sparkly colors and glow-in-the-dark pieces. For more information on Geomagworld’s sustainable play initiatives, visit geomagworld.com.
