Be Part of The Toy Association’s “Sustainability Spotlight”

plant-surrounded-by-lightbulbJanuary 23, 2023 | The Toy Association is continuing its “Sustainability Spotlight” series in Toy News Tuesday this year, which highlights companies that are tapping into eco-friendly initiatives and are making efforts to go green.

The feature spotlights toy manufacturers that are committed to reducing their carbon footprint; use sustainable materials in packaging and products; participate in toy takeback programs; and/or educate kids about environmental issues.

“One of the biggest consumer shopping trends we’re seeing this year across all industries — and especially in toys — is that consumers are looking to support companies that align with their own personal values,” said Adrienne Appell, executive vice president of marketing communications at The Toy Association. “Whether a company is taking steps to prioritize sustainability or produces items that teach kids how to incorporate eco-friendly practices in their lives, we want to highlight and spread awareness about these efforts.”
