Nominations are Open for 2023 WiT Wonder Women Awards

wit-treasurer-christina-liquoriMarch 27, 2023 | Nominations are now open for the Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) 2023 Wonder Women Awards, which honor top female executives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and other changemakers for their extraordinary accomplishments and impact within the toy, licensing, and entertainment industries. Coinciding with Toy Fair™, the celebratory event will take place in the evening on Sunday, October 1 at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers in New York City.

From now through May 19, industry professionals may nominate a colleague, friend, themselves, or any woman who has made an impact in toys, licensing, or entertainment in the following categories:

  • Designer/Inventor
  • Inbound Licensing
  • Marketing
  • PR & Communications
  • Brand Franchise
  • Digital Storytelling
  • Social Impact
  • Creative Genius
  • Commercial Sales
  • Rising Leader

Finalists will be determined by votes cast by the WiT Board of Directors, Advisory Board, Chapter Chairs, and Committee Chairs, and will be based on the nominees’ achievements in the following areas:

  • Positively impacted her company, peers, or industry
  • Contributed to the growth or improvement of her company or the toy, licensing, or entertainment industries
  • Served as a role model for other individuals or companies in the industry

Proceeds from this event will benefit the WiT Foundation Scholarship Program and fund vitally important programming that helps to deliver on the WiT mission of advancing and advocating for women.

2023 WiT sponsors include Amazon, Mattel, Paramount, Hasbro, LEGO, Spin Master, The Bandai Foundation, Jazwares, TOMY, and others who support the organization’s year-round programming and help contribute to the success of the Wonder Women Awards.
