Thursday Webinar: Developing Effective DTC Strategies for Your Business

May 22, 2023 | Companies are reminded that a new Toy Association webinar, “The Growth of Direct-to-Consumer Brands and Strategies Part 2: Developing an Effective DTC Strategy,” will take place Thursday, May 25 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).

The session will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the growth and importance of direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, why every brand needs a DTC strategy in today's rapidly evolving market, and the top tactics and strategies to grow a DTC business. It is designed to help companies understand DTC metrics and KPIs, how to evaluate a brand's preparedness for DTC growth, and top tactics for boosting conversion and revenue in the DTC segment.

Presenters will include Dan Bowling, CEO of Toy’n Around, and Chris Jensen and Derek Mabie, managing partners of The Genesis Company, a division of Toy’n Around dedicated to assisting brands in scaling into mass retail. Anne McConnell, senior director of market research & data strategy at The Toy Association, will moderate.

Registration is now open. The session is open to Toy Association members at no cost; non-members may join for a $99 registration fee. It is specifically recommended for brand managers, marketing professionals, and others involved in enhancing or fully realizing their brand's potential.

For those who missed the first webinar in the series, “The Growth of Direct-to-Consumer Brands and Strategies Part 1: Embracing the Shift to DTC Brands,” which took place on May 18, a recording is now available. The session examined the rapid growth of the DTC segment and its relevance for all brands, including those with a retail presence.
