Webinar: How to Protect Your Business this Holiday Season

November 27, 2023 | An upcoming Toy Association webinar will explore proactive strategies toy brands can put into place to protect their revenue streams ahead of the holiday season.

Taking place Thursday, December 7 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), “Key Ways Toy Brands Can Protect Their Revenue Streams this Holiday” will provide participants with different ways they can ensure consumer safety while meeting increased holiday demand for products and monitor marketplaces for infringing sellers that may put consumers at risk and lead to revenue losses. Considering ongoing efforts in Congress, including the advocacy for the SHOP SAFE Act by The Toy Association™, the webinar will offer practical solutions to fight counterfeits and infringing products sold online until new regulations are enacted.

Attendees will also:

  • Hear from experts about their strategies to prevent negative reviews.
  • Explore real-case examples of how fraudsters and scammers operate, as well as typical strategies they use to avoid detection.
  • Access examples of effective tactics that toy brands can employ to prevent malicious actors, not only safeguarding their brands but also reclaiming revenue lost to infringers.
  • Discover how to develop clear and efficient procedures for initiating product recalls in the event of safety concerns.

Registration is now open. The webinar will be presented by Daniel Shapiro, senior vice president of brand relationships & strategic partnerships at Red Points, and Sarah-Jane Dobson, international product safety, compliance, and liability lawyer. Jennifer Gibbons, The Toy Association’s senior vice president of government affairs, will moderate.

The session is open to Toy Association members and non-members at no cost. It is specifically recommended for individuals involved in marketing, product safety, brand management, IP law, brand protection, and advertising.
