Annual U.S. Sales Data

U.S. retail sales of toys generated $29.2 billion in 2022, a decrease of 0.2% according to The NPD Group’s U.S. Retail Tracking Service that covers 76% of the U.S. Toys Market. While sales remained relatively flat in 2022, the market has seen strong growth over the last three years.

Dollar Volume and Trends by Super Category:

U.S. toy industry dollar volume and trends by Super Category shows Outdoor & Sports Toys continue to be the largest category at $5.2 billion according to The NPD Group’s US Retail Tracking Service Market.
